Jump to 27:37 mark in this video. Interesting note buried in this week's Swapmoto Kickstart show. It's sounding like RK chain failures this season for Anderson (broken hand chain failure crash), Marchbanks and then Cody Shock broke two chains in one day of racing.What does everyone think...is this a quality issue with the RK chains? Does anyone know specifically which chain these pro teams are running.

I've been riding for 20 years through rocks and have never broken a chain. I wonder if these guys are using chain links like us mere mortals or unlinked chains. I would 100% like to see a more in-depth review of what broke and how across the various incidents. Could be a coincidence but I think not.

in 16 years of riding, I have never seen or had a broken chain. It's very rare in racing too, but does happen occasionally. For it to happen to 3 riders at the same track, with the same chain - that's definitely unusual. Is it Covid? Who knows. Where are their chains made? Maybe they switched manufacturers? Do an investigative consumer report someone! lol.
