RAM MOUNTS X-GRIP VS QUAD LOCK | BEST MOTORCYCLE PHONE MOUNT | RIDE Adventures

As smartphones now appear to play a significant role in the human experience, more motorcycle riders than ever before are depending on these handheld devices as their primary GPS navigation tool. After all, why fumble around with a dedicated GPS device, when our phones, these tools that do so much more than just GPS routing, can do the same. Often better, and more reliably. I've been testing a couple of popular handlebar mounting options on the market, RAM's X-Grip® and the Quad Lock® system and have some comments that may help in your decision on which one of these is the best motorcycle phone mount for you.

I have used the X-Grip for over a year now and have had no issues nor have I lost the rubber nubs on the fingers.

I have a quad lock. I tried to install it on my off-road bike but it looked way too sketchy so I ended up just using it for my bicycle. Any serious offroading neither of these will work for. This case looks quite interesting from HondoGarage https://shop-hondogarage.com/collections/phone-mounting-systems-motorcycle/complete-bundle , has anyone tried it out?
