http://www.crosstrainingenduro.com http://tractionerag.com There are plenty of glowing reviews about Fox boots. Guys are given a free motocross boot set, then they sit them on a bench and repeat the manufacturer's promotional text. I thought it would be interesting to feature comments from actual riders who have used the boots. These are comments found on social media when people have asked about the experiences of other riders with Fox Instinct boots and Fox Comp R boots. I hope you enjoy the riding shots, this was filmed in Canada last year. I should point out that not everyone has negative experiences with Fox motocross boots. There is the occasional comment from riders who say they've had no problems, or even like their boots. But there is a lot of negative feedback which you won't hear in a Fox Instinct boot review. When all the benchtop reviews never mention problems with these boots, we thought it might be time to feature some real world comments... the premium boot but also for the Fox Comp R boot review. In the budget range there are now two models, the Fox Comp being a bit cheaper. User comments: Fox Instinct soles started peeling off after five rides - Mark B. Fox Instinct boots, I have nothing but problems with these... gear leaves a bad taste in my mouth - Kyle B. Instinct boots should come with two tubes of shoe glue... maybe last 100hrs if ya keep glueing them back up - greg f. Went through 3 pairs of boots in a half of season.I had so many people say they had the same issues. - fu...... Fox Instinct boot fell apart on the sole after 6 months - James C. My Fox Instinct boots fell apart too.- Christian W. There is a lot of debate about whether this perceived drop in quality is due to Fox boots being made in China. Chinese production does not automatically mean crap quality, it comes down to quality control of course. There does appear to be a drop in quality for many brands as they outsource production to cheaper countries, although not in every case. Let us know your experiences in the comments, the good, the bad and the ugly. The more we have, the more we know for our Fox Instinct boot review. User comments for Fox Comp review: Fox Comp 5 boots started falling apart in the first 6 months - Emile A. First pair of Fox boots all the latches broke off. Second pair already has huge tear in the side. - Josh H. Fox Comp 5 boots, they were total garbage. - kdx.... Fox Racing was your typical success story of a family owned motocross business in the USA, now it's owned by a private equity company that sells Fox Head products, mostly made in China and other Asia countries, in more than 50 countries around the world. Our question is whether Fox Racing has dropped the ball with quality and customer support now that they are a multi national corporation. You won't hear negative comments in a Fox Comp boot review but check online! A quick google search certainly finds some riders are happy with Fox gear, but there are many complaints about a perceived drop in quality over the years, according to Fox Instinct boot reviews on forums from actual owners. Fox website blurb: Our Instinct Boot has built a legacy based on the hard work and dedication of our top athletes and designers. With the new addition of a family of motocross boots, the Comp Series, we now have an option for each step in your journey, from practice tracks to the top of the podium. Owners comments: Fox Instinct boots were hardly worn when they started falling apart and Fox wouldn't stand behind them - Iron T.... Fox instinct boots, have been garbage since day 1 - M. K.
