Comet TAV2 Torq-A-Verter
- Replaces centrifugal clutch system and boosts performance
- Clutch is asymmetric-type torque converter system with asymmetric
- sheave faces, this makes it possible to force the belt to a diameter within
- the drive clutch (at high rpm) that exceeds the usual 1:1 drive ratio
- TAV2 system can actually attain a. 90:1 ratio (10 percent overdrive)
- Movable sheave face is 18degrees, stationary sheave is 21/2 degree, for a collective angle of 201/2 degree
- For use on 3/4in. or 1in. crankshaft diameter 2- and 4-cycle engines with
- a maximum of 8 hp.
