Loctite Sleeve Retainer

  • A high-temperature, anaerobic adhesive that secures slip fit and press fit assemblies. Adds up to 3,000 psi holding power.
  • Restores fit to worn or out-of-tolerance assemblies.
  • Prevents surface corrosion.
  • Works at temperatures up to 400deg. F.
  • Typical applications include cylinder sleeves, valve guides, valve seats, woodruff keys, liner assemblies, bearings and bushings.
  • Loctite Sleeve Retainer 640 Item #37484 is the replacement for Loctite Retaining Compound 609 Item #37483 (IDH 492146).
